Yup, the start of a series, like I said, in the form of an RxJxN pic~ A sad fact, about this CandyShips series? I began it a bit before Valentine's Day, in an attempt to put it up within a couple weeks of the holiday. It's almost May now.

I like the way I drew Jackle in this pic best; I finally settled on a way of drawing his cape that I liked. Earlier, I was far too stuck on the idea that the cape had to be attached. <3 I did play with my maren drawing style a bit with these three pics, so you'll probably note the changes easily~ Also, fun fact! This series is being posted in reverse order that I drew it. The last pic I post will be the oldest I drew~

And the hardest part about drawing this pic? No, it wasn't the way NiGHTS's and Reala's hands are layered; it was Jackle's cape. It was just... funky, for a while there.

Yes, Jackle's eyes are closed. in case you couldn't tell; yes, the title is a reference to the Bowling for Soup song; and no, none of the marens are particularly young in this pic. Jackle's just big~
